Hello all, my name is Connor Ridgeway, the student teacher for the Cox Mill bands this semester. I was born and raised in Hendersonville, North Carolina and attedended North Henderson Highschool. I have participated in the band since 6th grade playing trumpet, and started in the marching band in 8th grade. I have been given the opportunity to play at national festivals all the way from Disney in Florida to Washington D.C. I am currently attending UNC Charlotte and studying music education finishing my last semester. I have performed in the Pride of Niner Nation Marching Band, the symphonic band, the wind ensemble, as well as play lead in the jazz band while attending UNC Charlotte. While in attendance at Charlotte, I have had the chance to play in front of many clinicians from Military bands to professors from top Universities and get invited to play at NCMEA with the Charlotte Jazz ensemble.
